Your tasks:

As a backend developer at Rapid Data, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our brand-new memorial platform. You will be a part of the engineering team across Germany and the Nordics with over 20 members and primarily working with the wider team consisting of five other talented individuals. The Tech Stacks you will be working with:

Java (using a modern framework like later versions of Spring boot, Micronaut, Play Framework)
MySQL, PostgreSQL

Your skillset:

We’re looking for a passionate backend developer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You enjoy problem-solving, taking initiatives, and are eager to make a difference.

Your skills & experience:
✅ 3-5 years of experience in backend engineering – ideally with web applications
✅ Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies
✅ Relevant academic background or practical experience in software development, such as computer science, information systems, or engineering
✅ You speak fluent English and work in an international team

We’re looking for someone who is a proactive and independent thinker that also thrives in a collaborative environment. You understand what makes a great product and take ownership of your work while staying open to feedback and new ideas.
